Antique Victorian Mahogany Writing Table
This Stunning late 19th Century Antique Victorian Mahogany Writing Table dates from ca. 1870. It has a moulded edge with rounded corners, a tooled leather writing and an unusual hinged stationary compartment. This sits above a frieze drawer with turned handles and moulded edges. This beautiful antique writing table stands on four turned reeded legs with white porcelain castors and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
