Description

A stunning antique burr walnut chest on chest. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.
The quality is superb, this is a great size and offers lots of storage space. It has a serpentine front, with a pull out sliding shelf in the middle. There is a nicely moulded cornice, grooved canted corners and this sits on bracket feet. The drawer fronts are cross banded and have high quality intricate brass handles.
We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. The burr walnut grain patterns and colours are gorgeous throughout.
The top lifts right off the base and this comes in two halves for ease of transport.

Depth – 19 inches , 49 cm
Height – 60 inches , 152 cm
