Description

Early 19th Century mahogany pedestal desk, the moulded edge top having a brown leather writing surface decorated with gold and blind tooling, the desk has an arrangement of nine graduated mahogany lined drawers with the original turned wooden knob handles, supported on a plinth base. The desk is in fantastic condition and has a lovely warm mahogany colour. Circa 1840.

All of Martlesham Antiques furniture is hand polished by their own French polishers and restorers to a very high standard. We are also a member of LAPADA, the association of art and antiques.
