Description

Early Georgian (Circa 1780) mahogany kneehole desk. The eight drawers of a good, hand-cut, dovetailed construction with solid oak linings, heavy brass plate handles and working locks to all drawers. With a slight slope to the top which has a new, full hide, leather and with a well panelled back. Although with a slope top, could be levelled out if preferred
Size 55 x 26 x 31 inches tall at the front and 33 at the back (139 x 66 x 79 and 84 cm tall)
