Resplendent in rich mahogany with fine grain interest Good consistent colour throughout and a desirable aged patina Deep russet hues in a lustrous wax polished finish Of large proportions at 6'1" x 5'1" A large, shaped backboard decorated with carved scroll detail Beautifully decorated with intricate pierced carved fruit and foliate detail Generous, thick counter top with edge moulding at 6cm deep (2.25") Central recess dressed with superb pierced carved apron detail A pair of field panel cabinet doors reveal upper drawers within Brass keyhole linings and locks with key present Raised upon a substantial continuous plinth base with dished centre Top protrudes at the rear to allow close wall placement clearing any skirting (baseboard) This is a finely detailed, large antique sideboard, rich in colour.
